Unique ID for Teamspeak

Every time you enter the Teamspeak server, a unique ID is generated for you. However, the Unique ID is only kept locally on your PC. If you are using another PC to enter the server, a new Unique ID will be generated for you. If you are using a different PC every time you login to teamspeak (ie. login from cybercafe), it will be troublesome because you will need to wait and ask for an Admin to restore your Full Member access.
To avoid this, please keep your Unique ID into an email or any internet storage available (Dropbox, website etc.

1) In your Teamspeak client, click on Settings > Identities.

2) Click Export and save the file using whichever name you want (eg. wotm.ini)

3) Open the file and Copy/Paste all every details in the file and put it into your email and send it to yourself.

4) When you want to access back into the Teamspeak server from another PC, join as usual.

5) Create a new file using Notepad and Copy/Paste the information from the email that you sent to yourself onto the file and Save as any filename you want (eg. wotm.ini)

6) From the Teamspeak client, go to Settings > Identities like above.

7) This time click on Import and select the file that you have just saved earlier (wotm.ini)

8) You will find an additional Default_1 in the list. Select it and click OK and you will then be able to regain  your Full Server access like previously.

This guide is roughly translated from the Malay version posted by AzlanDynasty(WoT SEA Server) on WOTM Facebook page.

How to setup and join Teamspeak or TS

Step 1

Download the latest version of Teamspeak client from Teamspeak website at http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads (Download the CLIENT that is compatible with your PC. If you don't know which one, it is most likely the Client 32-bit for Windows)

Step 2

Install Teamspeak.

Step 3

After you have finished installing, run Teamspeak.

Step 4

Click on Bookmark > Manage Bookmarks

Step 5

Click on "Add Bookmark" and then fill in the details of the server that you are going to join. After you have done filling in the details, click OK

*for WOTM members, please ask in clan for the address (revealing the address in public could subject the server to DDOS attack from rival clans who would do anything to win)

Step 6

To connect to the server that you have just selected, click on Bookmark again and select the server that you have just added earlier.

Step 7

Now that you are connected to the server, you may setup your microphone to begin talking on Teamspeak.(or not and just be a good listener). Click on Settings > Options

Step 8

In the Options, go to the Capture tab on the left. For people who don't know what you are doing, make sure the Push-to-Talk option is selected. You may change the default hotkey(Ctrl+X) to press when you wish to speak by clicking on the Ctrl+X box and change it to whichever hotkey you want. You can also test the sound level of your microphone by clicking on the Begin Test box and adjust it accordingly. After you are done, click OK and you are ready to talk on Teamspeak.
