Sidescraping

Ever wonder why you keep penetrating your enemy but not doing enemy damage? This could be one of the reason.

Sidescraping is used by more experienced players to try minimise the damage that they trade with their enemy. Refer to the diagram for more explanation. (Please click on diagram for bigger picture)

Why sidescrape?
- Higher chance to get tracked but receive no damage.
- Tank side is at a very high deflecting angle and will bounce most shots.
- Front hull and belly not exposed

So, looking at the diagram, imagine the enemy shoot and the shot gets deflected with no damage. Then you reverse out and take a shot while he reloads and u have better chance to damage him as he has more weakspots exposed.

Give sidescraping a try the next time and feel the difference.

Below is a good example of side scraping.Watch and hopefully learn :D
